Justifiably earns it's reputation as one of the top places in Manchester to visit!
Portions are very generous & incredibly tasty, service is good and patient (especially with big parties & kids) and tje coffee is good too.
Be mindful that you really need to book well in advance or likely be disappointed (or have a long wait).
Absolutely delicious breakfast! My husband had a hard time choosing what to have! I had a pancake stack and a delicious caramel latte. We went on an early Sunday morning and sat upstairs as downstairs was already full!
The staff are very attentive and friendly.
We were visiting Manchester for a gig the night before, Gutted there aren't any Moose coffees closer to us in South Wales!
Had the Double Dutch pancakes and the honeycomb latte with cream which was delicious. The pancakes had the smokes sausage and streaky bacon already in the filling so taste wise, it was slightly overshadowed by the pancake… I like my eggs more to the some side (so that was cooked perfectly). The latte was a welcomed change as I’ve never had honeycomb before so definitely will be coming back for that.
I was sat quite close to the door which is not my preference, it did feel a lil squishy.
Service was amazing 10/10! - Piccadilly Station
Date of experience: 04/01/24
We arrived at Piccadilly Station about 9.30am and chose Moose Coffee at random because it was close and the Google reviews were good.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted immediately by a really friendly waitress, mentioned we were only in Manchester for the day for my Son's 16th birthday and she organised a surprise of birthday pancakes for him.
I ordered the brioche French toast with bacon and syrup and an americano. BEST French Toast I've ever had! All in all, it was just such a lovely atmosphere and experience!
The food was quite nice. However, service was very slow and didn't make sense with regards to who came in first. Also, empty cups weren't cleared. Eventually though we put them on the empty table next to us. Last but not least, it was really cold inside. Most guests kept their coats and jackets on. Overall just missing some basic touches that would make people relax and enjoy a cozy coffee and breakfast/lunch
Amazing breakfast we had for my birthday. Very filling but so delicious!! And I got complimentary pancakes too for my birthday 🫶🏼 would return again! 🤩
Busy Saturday noon, but we were promptly served upon arrival and I noticed how quickly the servers cleared the table when customers left. Found out two of their servers had quit but it didn’t affect the service attitude of those remaining. My oat latte and eggs benedict’s were okay but my husband’s club moose was a little underwhelming. Guess they made up with its generous portion (it’s good for sharing). Please go with a proper expectation of a coffeeshop, not a restaurant and I promise you’d leave very satisfied.
Really good coffee. Service was great. Dishes are not really authentic North American cuisine, but still yummy. Atmosphere is a little cookie-cutter, but the location was clean and well maintained. There was a regular flow of folks coming through. This would be a good place to bring kids and can accommodate young patrons. Has gluten free and vegetarian as well as vegan options.
